My client is a leading independent firm established 75 years ago and still going strong!

In the downtown area of Toronto, operating from beautiful office space, this firm has high professional standards and a wide variety of very interesting and professionally challenging assignments.

Their Partners have asked me to find someone who can take the heat off of them and be able to quickly learn, or already be able to tackle assignments including:


At least 5 years public practice experience with small business clients and working paper preparation.
Proficient in preparation of Corporate T2 Returns; including typical knowledge to complete returns for small business clients.
General knowledge level about Receiver General Source Deductions and GST.
Excited about working directly with the partner in charge of work.
Takes responsibility for work assigned and enjoys completing assigned tasks of 5 days or less in duration.
Good working knowledge of Tax Prep, Word, Excel and Caseware and Caseview
Experience in preparation of personal income tax returns and estate/trust returns
Good experience in accounting for investments portfolios and the related income tax
impact Ideal Candidate.

More than 5 years public practice experience with small business clients. Enjoys the type of
work but perhaps not their current working environment. Wants to take responsibility for work
assigned and enjoys client contact. Motivated by quick turnaround of work completed due to
timely review by partner/manager in charge of work. Willing to learn new skills and expand
current skill set. Opportunity for estate and trust engagements. Knowledge of investment
holding corporations is a critical asset and related investment accounting requirements.
