A dynamic 4-partner,
30-staff CA firm on University Avenue in the heart of
Downtown Toronto seeks an ambitious Audit & AssuranceManager,
who wants to grow into the role of Partner.
Recently relocated
into very 'trendy' office space with panoramic views
of the downtown core, this young, energetic and entrepreneurial
firm offers excellent working conditions, a good social
life with your co-workers, and even work/life balance!
Dealing with
owner/manager clients with revenues in the $10m region,
you will be a consummate professional when it comes
to dealing directly with clients.
You will have first class communication skills (both
verbal and written) and have an eye for detail. Your
handbook knowledge will be right up to date and your
technical abilities will be of the highest order. You
will have over 10 years experience, with at least 6
years as a supervisor/manager. (Ideal candidate will
have qualified prior to 2004).
You will have common sense, leadership and a good all-round
blend of business and professional experience. Still

1) Good all-round tax knowledge, including practical
application, (remuneration and tax planning, payroll,
instalments) for owner managed business clients
2) Strong accounting knowledge

1,2 and 3 to resolve technical issues/risks/planning
opportunities
6) Ability to liaise with clients, communicate relevant
information, attend premises and follow-up

clients
9) Self motivated and ability to take ownership of clients/files/issues
10) Ability to manage the time of others and schedule
tasks taking into account deadlines, sensitivity of
work and staff availability
11) Ability to motivate staff to work at an optimum
level
12) Able to organize routine tasks into plans so that
work can be delegated down to junior staff
13) Strong sense of deadlines
14) Ability to manage partners and clients and to obtain
key information

20) Strong people skills, good listener, enjoys interacting

21) Proactive in maintaining and expanding technical
