This thirty staff firm is looking for an Intermediate staff accountant with three years experience in public accounting. They have been around for over twenty years and deal mainly with owner-managed businesses and smaller corporations. They have trendy offices just a fifteen minute subway ride from union station and the atmosphere is culturally diverse, relaxed and business casual.

The partners are down to earth and easily accessible, for example they usually eat lunch with the staff in the kitchen. This is a great opportunity to work directly with a mentoring partner and to get in on the ground floor of something good and progress up to a senior level.

Their work is mainly notice to reader with some review and audit. They also provide tax and succession planning for their clients.
You are either a new CA, have written or rewritten the UFE or are a level four or five CGA.

You will be working on personal tax returns, contacting and communicating with clients, bookkeeping, and notice to readers as well as developing your skills in GAAP, completing complex tax returns, reviews, training staff and eventually managing a small client group.

This firm has a definite plan for your advancement and are willing to let UFE writers have August and September to prep for the exam as well as reimburse you for the fees should you pass.
