Our
client is looking for someone who can approach their
work logically, deal with clients effectively and who
has the initiative to work independently in this 'boutique'
firm where 99.9% of their clients come from a specific
niche market. As a result, you will be working with
high-net worth professionals on their corporate year
ends and associated tax issues.
But it doesn't
end there.
What we are specifically
looking for is someone who can see the big picture for
the client and speak with them about their overall financial
position and work with them to develop a strategy for
wealth creation and protection. This will involve some
sexy tax planning, estate planning, dealing with family
trusts and more.
Looking
for a CA with three to four years experience/ or CGA
Level 4 or higher. Must be highly organized
and have the ability to work independently.
This position
would involve overseeing 2-3 junior staff and CGA's.
Reviewing work on paper files & checking it before
giving to Sr. Manager, a lot of tax related work for
high end bracket clientele who are appreciative of the
relationship and are bright & sophisticated. Working
on buying & selling of practices also, so this will
give you a chance to get into M&A work. Business
valuations & plans, cash flow projections, Section
85 rollovers etc. Great potential in this job to learn
and grow .
Attention to detail is essential, as is excellent English
verbal and written communication skills.
An interest in
taxation is not essential, but would be an asset. (Indepth
completed is an asset)
