Opportunity
Our
client is a mid-sized firm who has been providing quality, value
added services since 1967.
We
are in search of an experienced Senior Manager- Valuator,
Business Valuations to provide leadership in this area
of the practice. There is the opportunity for business development
– with incentives. There is definite partnership potential
for the ideal candidate.
You
Will:
Will
be responsible for the day to day engagement process, maintaining
client relationships, mentoring juniors, preparing expert reports,
and assisting the legal team as necessary.
You
will have a Canadian Designation, CA coupled with a CBV designation
or CBA, MCBA, AIBA or BVAL
Skills/Experience:
- The
ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience
in Business Valuations and Litigation Support.
- Forensic
experience and IFA or ACFE would be a significant asset.
- Familiarity
with engagements involving purchase/sale transactions, income
tax reorganizations, shareholder disputes, divorce litigation,
civil litigation (breach of contract, fiduciary duty, fraud,
lost profit etc.) would be valuable.
- Management
experience in a CA or Mid-Sized Public Accounting Firm.
- Client
focused attitude.
- Ability
to meet client deadlines while ensuring profitability on the
engagement. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground
running, able to work independently.
