Opportunity
Our
client is a mid-sized firm who has been providing quality, value
added services since 1967.
We
are in search of an experienced Trustee in Bankruptcy, CIRP Designated
Professional to provide leadership in this area of the practice.
There is the opportunity for business development – with
incentives. There is partnership potential for the ideal candidate.
You
Will:
- Perform
initial consultations with individuals, assess alternatives,
and provide counseling.
- Supervise
administrative staff and delegate tasks as required.
- Communicate
with debtors, creditors, the Office of the Superintendent
of Bankruptcy and courts through creditor meetings, reports
and attendance at court, etc.
- Manage
files from start to finish.
- Identify,
target and develop referral sources for business development.
Your
Skills
& Experience Should Include:
-
Minimum 7 years experience in Insolvency in the Canadian marketplace
- A
Recognized Accounting Designation, preferably a CA
-
Licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy, Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring
Professional, CIRP designation.
- Excellent
knowledge and understanding of insolvency rules and procedures
with respect to the bankruptcy and insolvency act.
