our client, a multi-partner firm in Markham, this role is a critical
part of the practice.
The
Tax Manager plays an integral role in developing relationships
with clients, helping them through what might be confusing times
for them during re-orgs, s.85 rollovers and other technical tax
issues that bring about many benefits.
A
real 'people-person' the successful candidate will be very comfortable
in the company of owner-managers and be able to build confidence
and trust from an early stage of the relationship.
You
will also have a keen eye for opportunities to assist clients,
manage a small team, and 'keep the momentum going' in the tax
team.

The
minimum requirements for this role would be as follows:

You will have a Canadian CA Designation
· You will have completed the CICA in-depth tax course,
parts I and II
· You posses at least 5 years of tax experience in a small
to medium sized CA firm manly dealing with owner/manager companies
