CA - Manager

The wide range in salary offered for this position means that we are prepared to look at both ends of the spectrum for this role - either someone who might be ready for that first step up to a manager's position, or someone who is already a manager at their present firm, but wants to accept more responsibility and grow into a partnership role.

Our client is a long established, six-partner CA firm in the heart of the Markham financial district, serving entrepreneurial clients from small owner-managed businesses to large not for profit organizations.

You will play a key role in managing the provision of timely services to wide range of interesting clients across a broad spectrum of industries.

You might have a 'big firm' background in your past, but ideally you will presently be working in a small to mid sized firm, where you enjoy the work and have plenty of client contact, but maybe feel restricted in future Partnership opportunities.

This role is specifically designed to carry you to the next level - that of partner - in a few years time to tie-in with the planned withdrawal of one of the partners who wishes to retire in 5 to 8 years time.

This is a great opportunity to develop a role within the firm leading to a genuine partnership role.

You will already be an experienced CA with a strong resume within public accounting and be looking for that final place to get established and develop relationships.

These relationships with the firm's partners and their clients will be the litmus test of your suitability for partnership in the medium term.
