- Audit Manager
Our client is a forward-thinking, rapidly growing
firm in the heart of downtown Toronto. Managing a small team,
you will be responsible for the smooth delivery of audit, review
and notice to reader services with the related tax issues attached.
One interesting aspect of this role, is to manage
the audit of around 20 small public companies, and their associated
reporting requirements. A good working knowledge of QAM, IFRS
and public company reporting requirements would therefore be a
distinct advantage.
You will ideally have a mid-sized public accounting
firm on your resume, and be able to 'hit the ground running' and
assume full responsibility for the book of business you will assume
responsibility for.
Reporting directly to the 2 Partners, you will
be able to manage small teams of staff working on a variety of
engagements at any given moment in time. Therefore your people
management and time management skills will be of the highest order.
This is a firm who value work/life balance and
work hard while they are at work, but also play hard when not
there.
A close-knit family environment has been created
over the years and they are looking for someone who will fit in
well with the present cultaure at the firm, having a little bit
of an edge, often seen as drive and enthusiasm will also help.
If
you are at a mid-tier firm, maybe you are frustrated by the lack
of opportunity to advance. If you have the public company audit
experience, at manager level, and are seeking a role that could
well grow into a partnership position, then this is your opportunity
to shine.
Excellent
working conditions and a generous salary and benefits package
is available to the right candidate.
